Clean Food
You may have heard reference to the term “clean foods” and wondered what on earth people were referring to. Athletes, people with food intolerances and those who pay close attention to the quality of food they consume, will tell you that it refers to wholesome, old-fashioned foods made using natural, familiar ingredients…
New Product: Pork Brawn
Have you ever tried Pork Brawn? It’s a very traditional style of meat that dates back to 1410. Commonplace from Romania to Finland, Vietnam to Cyprus, Barbados to Brazil, and China to Spain.
In Austria it is referred to as Presswurst, Sulz or Schwartamaga and served with salad with a vinaigrette and vegetables.
Extremely tender pieces of shredded pork and mixed with vegetables such as onion and carrots, before being set in aspic. The mix is then fashioned into a block similar in size to a block of cheese.
New Product: Black Pepper Pâté
Have you tried our new French pâté? Flavoured with black peppercorns and a dash of port wine, this smooth meat spread can be purchased in 230g blocks.
The origin of pâté is rooted in northern and central European cuisines and it remains a mainstay of French cuisine. During the Middle Ages, it was a staple for those living in the country side, as it provided an economical and efficient means of ensuring no meat went to waste.
New Product: Bavarian-style Meatloaf
Bavarian meatloaf is an age-old favourite that’s often referred to as leberkase (literally meaning ‘liver cheese’). However, it no longer contains either liver, or cheese.
This fat, squat roll of meat is most delicious when served cold with white crusty bread and a dollop of sweet mustard or pickle. For breakfast, try it pan-fried with an egg on the top. Even the kids will love it!

Getting social
In May, Eve Smallgoods quietly launched our new e-commerce website, revamped our Instagram account, and made changes to the Eve Smallgoods Facebook page.
We have invested in a product image library that stockists are welcome you to use, and are actively co-promoting our clients by sharing and tagging on social media, and through pages dedicated stockists & distributors, and dining venues.
Hospitality support
You'll notice a section of our web site called FEAST. This contains recipes provided by the likes of Chefs Peter Kuruvita of Noosa Beach House fame, and Pawel Klodowski of Noma Copenhagen fame.
They use our products in select dishes, so we're happy to promote them and their restaurants on our web page & via social media. If you'd like your business promoted in this manner, simply sing out!
Co-vid Hours
Throughout lock-down, Eve Smallgoods has been operating with reduced hours (Open Mondays. Wednesdays and Fridays only). This has enabled us to lower our overheads while (thankfully) retaining most of our employees.
Eve has always been Sin Free
You’ may have noticed an emphasis being placed on our sin-free approach to manufacturing. This assures consumers that they’re eating products that are sourced locally in Australia from farms that are certified as being committed to sustainable agricultural and animal welfare practices.
We only purchase quality meats that are free from hormones and we don’t add nitrate, nitrites or artificial colours to our products in order to achieve a particular look.

Eve gets a makeover
The Eve Smallgoods logo has undergone a make-over and although it retains the colours and symbolism of the original, it now has a fresh, modern feel that and strengthens our core message.
An extension of this rebranding is the creation of new product labels, will begin appearing on packages in September. Retail packaging is most affected, with front labels strongly branded
and more informative about each product's unique attributes.
