Polish Wedzona and Cheese Stuffed Croissants
Ingredients:
Olive oil
1 onion
3 Polish Wedzona sausage
4 mushrooms
1tbs tomato paste
Cooking wine (add for desired consistency)
400g tinned tomatos
3 criossants
cheese to top
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Heat oil in a fry pan over medium heat and add sliced onion until soft. Slice the sausages in pieces and add to fry pan with mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the tomato paste, wine and tinned tomatoes. Let the sauce simmer until evaporated.
Slice the top of croissants ad stuff with mixture. Top with cheese and place in oven util cheese is melted and browned.
